In any line grating, one dark bar and one blank space compose a line pair. The pattern has very high contrast ratio and edge definition. They are available as chrome on glass, or on a variety of photographic films or papers. We offer several standard as well as custom sizes and custom shape ronchi ruling and grating targets.We also offer precise, large-area, single-frequency ronchi ruling and Variable Frequency Ronchi Rulings Targets ,such as 5 lp/mm to 120 lp/mm or 5 lp/mm to 200 lp/mm,for evaluating resolution, field distortion, and parfocal stability in optical systems,calibrate video systems and inspect unknown resolutions.
The grating resolution is defined by the number of line pairs in a given amount of space and is given in line pairs per millimeter (lp/mm).
