Positive USAF1951 Calibration targets
Resolution test slides with the USAF 1951 test pattern in positive (chrome pattern on clear background) is positive USAF1951 calibration target. It is recommended for quality control of test equipment and machine vision systems. The target conforms to MIL-S-150A.
Together with the target includes resolution value chart. You need High resolution USAF test target to identify resolution of machine vision or computer vision systems, since the industrial 4.0 requires higher accuracy for the vision images. Our ceramic target tolerance from ±0.5µm~ ±10µm.

Features:
● Chrome and Photolithographic USAF 1951 pattern on ceramic or glass (better:import quartz glass)or film substrate
● Various sizes available such as 2" x 2" ,3" x 3" ...
● Various thickness such as 0.38mm, 0.635mm,1.0mm, 3.0mm, 5.0mm, 10mm...
● High accuracy ±0.5µm to 10µm
● Recommended for quality control of microscopes and magnifiers
● Conforms to the American military standard MIL-STD-150A
● Includes Resolution Value Chart
● different resolution units use the corresponding group and unit marks, and the corresponding resolution of each unit can be obtained by looking up the table

Technical Information:
Positive usaf 1951 chart consist of bars organized in groups and elements. Each group consists of six elements (i.e. elements 1-6) and each element is composed of 3 horizontal and 3 vertical equally spaced bars. Each element within a group corresponds to an associated resolution, based on the bar width/space. The resolution of an imaging system is defined by the group and element just before the black and white bars start blending together.
Note: Although the test yields precise resolution values, this is a qualitative test which depends on the user's definition of acceptable blur. The vertical bars are used to calculate horizontal resolution and the horizontal bars are used to calculate vertical resolution. One line pair equals one black and one white bar.

Application Examples:
Testing Resolution in Applications such as Optical Test Equipment,Machine Vision Imaging Systems, High Magnification Video Lenses, Photolithography, and Nanotechnology
